Somewhere out there, a discovery is being made. An advancement is being produced, and tomorrow you and I will wake up to information and knowledge that is learned and processed faster than today. Moore’s Law, when not factoring for heat, seems to be holding steady. What comes next? These are fast times, and scary too.
We are standing on the precipice of a new future, a new world waiting in the wings. One way or another, we must be ready to pass the information, the promise that comes, on to those around us. Whether from the outside looking in as journalists, or internally through corporate communications specialists, we stand no longer as gate-keepers of information but as guides. It is our duty to ensure that the rest of the world at least knows of what is coming next.
Join me as I embark on this journey– it will be rough and turbulent, but there is always more to come.
